Tony’s parents opened The Fudge Factory in 1982, raising him with the business principles he continues today: use fresh ingredients, provide great customer service, and pay close attention to details. In 2007, Tony purchased The Fudge Factory from his parents and continues their tradition of producing quality products.
In 2012, Tony then turned his attention to a vacant corner lot near the Dahlonega Square with a 1940s-era building that had been both a grocery store and florist shop.
He began extensive renovations. Tony’s dedication to conserving one of the city’s historic places earned him the Dahlonega Downtown Development Authority’s “Golden Nail” award in 2014.
Opening in the spring of 2014, The Corner Kitchen has grown and expanded to include breakfast, lunch, deli offerings, catering, and The Fudge Factory’s famous sweets.
